AIRTECH JAPAN History

• Mar. 1973Established AIRTECH JAPAN, LTD. in Roppongi, Minato-ku, Tokyo for the purpose of manufacturing and selling air purification equipment.
• Mar. 1974Completed standard clean bench. Simultaneously developed low-noise fan (LNF-1).
• Feb. 1975Started manufacturing many clean air system products including air shower devices.
• Dec. 1976Built new Soka factory in Soka City, Saitama Prefecture.
• Mar. 1978Established Osaka sales office in Oyodo-ku (now Kita-ku), Osaka City.
• Jan. 1979Took a stake in Tech Co., Ltd. and Air Engineering Co., Ltd. when they were established, which provide installation services for our products.
• Jun. 1983Established Clean Supply Department for dust-free cleaning of dust-free clothing and sales of various wipers.
• Feb. 1984Installed dust-free laundry equipment for cleaning and developed dust-free clothing cleaning.
• May 1984Relocated head office to Higashi Ueno, Taito-ku, Tokyo.
• Sep. 1984Established AIRTECH EQUIPMENT PTE., LTD jointly with UTOPIA-AIR PTE., LTD. (Singapore) in Singapore.
• Jan. 1985Concluded clean air technology licensing agreement with AIRTECH EQUIPMENT PTE., LTD.
• Jan. 1986Separated and independently established Clean Supply Co., Ltd. from Clean Supply Department.
• Feb. 1987Established Fukuoka branch office (now Fukuoka sales office) in Minami-ku, Fukuoka City.
• Jun. 1987Established Sendai sales office in Aoba-ku, Sendai City.
• Sep. 1987Developed SS-MAC series, garment stockers, LC type HEPA units, clean dust boxes, etc.
• Jul. 1989Merged Clean Supply Co., Ltd.
• Apr. 1990Established AIRTECH SYSTEM CO., LTD. jointly with Ying Jie Air Conditioning Machinery Co. (Taiwan) in Taiwan.
• May 1990Concluded clean air technology licensing agreement with AIRTECH SYSTEM CO., LTD.
• Nov. 1991Newly registered as Japan Securities Dealers Association over-the-counter trading issue.
• Feb. 1992Established Okabe Tech Co., Ltd. jointly with Okabe Industry Co., Ltd.
• Sep. 1992Built new Gunma factory in Akabori Town (now Isesaki City), Sawa District, Gunma Prefecture, and leased it to Okabe Tech Co., Ltd.
• Mar. 1994Established Suzhou Antai Airtech Co., Ltd. jointly with China Suzhou Purification Equipment Co., Ltd. and three other companies in Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, China. Concluded clean air technology licensing agreement with Suzhou Antai Airtech Co., Ltd.
• Nov. 1994Established Nagoya sales office in Nakamura-ku, Nagoya City.
• Jul. 1995Established AIRTECH INTERNATIONAL MANUFACTURING, INC., a clean air product manufacturing subsidiary in Hillsboro, Oregon, USA.
• Sep. 1995Started in-house production of high-performance filters (HEPA).
• Feb. 1996Started manufacturing and selling household air purifiers Aerocare.
• May 1996Concluded clean air technology licensing agreement with AIRTECH INTERNATIONAL MANUFACTURING, INC.
• Jul. 1997Listed stock on the Second Section of Tokyo Stock Exchange.
• Aug. 1997Built and relocated to head office building in Iriya, Taito-ku, Tokyo.
• Mar. 1998Merged Okabe Tech Co., Ltd., established as our Gunma factory.
• Sep. 1998Established Suzhou Huatai Air Filter Co., Ltd. jointly with China Wuxian Purification Equipment Co. and Suzhou Purification Equipment Co., Ltd. in Wuxian City, Jiangsu Province, China, and concluded air filter technology licensing agreement.
• Sep. 2000Liquidated subsidiary AIRTECH INTERNATIONAL MANUFACTURING, INC.
• Mar. 2001Built research building in Soka factory and established research institute.
• Mar. 2002Established Suzhou Futai Clean System Co., Ltd. jointly with Suzhou Industrial Park Antai Air Conditioning Purification Technology Co., Ltd. and AIRTECH SYSTEM CO., LTD. in Suzhou Industrial Park, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, China.
• Oct. 2003Built sheet metal factory in Gunma factory.
• Mar. 2004Concluded clean air equipment technology licensing agreement with Korea’s WOOLEE company. Changed WOOLEE company name to WOOLEE AIRTECH KOREA CO., LTD.
• Mar. 2004Established Hiroshima sales office in Minami-ku, Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture.
• Dec. 2004Established Minami Kyushu sales office in Kokubu City, Kagoshima Prefecture.
• Jun. 2005Designated as Tokyo Stock Exchange First Section issue.
• Jun. 2006Built new Kazo factory in Kazo City, Saitama Prefecture (Kazo Shimotakayanagi Industrial Park).
• Apr. 2007Concluded clean air equipment technology licensing agreement with India’s PYRAMID AIRTECH PVT. LTD.
• Mar. 2008Transferred rights of Suzhou Futai Clean System Co., Ltd. in Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, China to local corporation and dissolved joint venture agreement with the company.
• Oct. 2008Purchased land and building adjacent to Soka factory and established service center.
• Jun. 2011Transferred rights of Suzhou Huatai Air Filter Co., Ltd. in Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, China to local corporation and dissolved joint venture agreement and technology licensing agreement with the company.
• Dec. 2011Established Hokuriku sales office in Toyama City, Toyama Prefecture.
• Mar. 2014Installed powder coating equipment in Gunma factory and started in-house coating.
• Jun. 2014Built new building in Gunma factory.
• Nov. 2015Concluded mutual product sales partnership agreement with PEA GMBH (Germany).
• Jan. 2016After concluding clean air technology licensing agreement with THELONG INTERNATIONAL TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. (Vietnam), changed company name to THELONG AIRTECH JOINT STOCK COMPANY.
• Jun. 2017Built assembly factory in Kazo factory.
• Dec. 2017Purchased land adjacent to head office.
• Aug. 2018Concluded clean air system technology licensing agreement with HEMAIR SYSTEMS INDIA LIMITED (India).
• Nov. 2019Purchased land in Koshigaya City, Saitama Prefecture.
• Dec. 2020Completed head office expansion.
• Jan. 2021Completed Koshigaya factory.
• Jun. 2021Purchased land for filter factory in Kiryu City, Gunma Prefecture.
